Beyond the Boardroom

While my professional life has been filled with strategy and innovation, my personal passions are where I find inspiration and balance. Photography has been a lifelong pursuit, with more than three million views on my Flickr gallery. Travel fuels my curiosity—from the vibrant streets of Havana to the serene landscapes of Moab, I’ve sought out stories and perspectives across Cuba, Vietnam, Mexico, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, the UK, Italy, Germany, Australia, and throughout the United States, including Maine, Northern California, Moab, Kauai, and Cape Cod.

I’m also passionate about technology. I’ve been a “gearhead” since assembling my first shortwave radio kit as a preteen. My love of technology has enhanced my photography, employing AI in my gear and post processing, embracing digital train model railroading of the European trains I have riden and love, as well as trying cool apps and gadgets to keep learning on electric guitar, photography, trains, and music.

  • My Photography - A World Through My Lens

Photography allows me to capture the moments that move me — the quiet beauty of a remote village, the rhythmic pulse of a bustling city, or the intricate details of a forgotten train station. Travel photography, street photography, people and landscapes are what I love most. Here, you’ll find a selection of my favorite photographs, each one telling a story of its own. For my full collection, you can visit my Flickr gallery here.

  • My Blog - True Stories, Random Thoughts and Lessons Learned

This is where I share reflections from my travels, insights on technology, and musings on the intersection of work and life. Whether it’s a story from the rails, a lesson from a business deal, or a snapshot of a distant horizon, you’ll find it here. I write to connect, inspire, and document the journeys — both professional and personal — that shape who I am.
